Spatial intervention at Adhoc in Bochum, 07.– 23.08.2020.

 

The artist-run space Adhoc has hosted a significant number of murals over the years. A segment of the wall paint was carefully loosened and peeled off, revealing a collage of different paint layers. Its shape marks the movement of the sun in the space on 5 August 2020, between 17:30 and 19:00.

 

The title of the work is borrowed from The Poetry of Incongruities – Spatial Proof by Contradiction, a poem by Lieven De Cauter.
