Realised for the exhibition Four as One as Three hosted by Gallery Kendra Jayne Patrick at 9 Herkimer Place, Brooklyn, New York, 16.09. – 04.11.2018.
Making use of leftover material from past exhibitions, the installation continues exploring aspects of exhibition infrastructure. It claims two of the four skylights of 9 Herkimer Place, extending their structure downwards into the space. While being the only source of natural light, the skylights are also the most structured architectural elements in the venue. A photograph displayed as part of the installation shows an organised chaos of a working process and captures a moment at the end of the day when the disappearing light casts a blue radiance into the space.
